Abstrakt

In this paper we present research and an application experiment with the simple gesture based user interface to the medical imaging data. The research is based on the previous research in human-computer interface domain and also in medical imaging domain. The goal was to design and develop a simple natural user interface that will use natural means og the human-human communication and that will allow the user to control the system in more efficient way and without or additionally to using traditional user interface means for example in a situation when a doctor have to keep his hands sterile and still needs to control the interface. Presented research showed possibilities of natural multimodal human-computer interfaces in use in application domain of medical imaging and data storing systems. It will be used as a use case in further research.

Abstrakt v češtině

V této práci je prezentováno jednoduché rozhraní pro ovládání lékařských dat pomocí gest rukou. Výzkum navazuje na předchozí výzkum v rozhraní člověk-počítač a současně na výzkum v oblasti zobrazování dat v lékařství. Cílem práce bylo vyvinout jednoduché rozhraní, které bude fungovat podobně jako komunikace dvou lidí. Současně by měl umožňovat efektivně ovládat daný systém v situacích, kdy lékařovy ruce musí zůstat sterilní. Prezentovaný výzkum ukazuje možnosti nasazení multimodálního rozhraní člověk-počítač v oblasti lékařských zobrazovacích technik.
