Abstract

This paper presents an approach to the building of remote and virtual laboratories based on industrial standards and utilizing the compatibility of control system REX and Matlab-Simulink. The approach is demonstrated on the PID autotuning laboratory configuration which has been developed and is running at University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic.
