Abstract

This paper presents a technique which allows the users to combine Easy Java Simulations system with REX control system, using the JavaREX interface which was developed last year. Easy Java Simulations is a powerful tool for generating Java applets (accessible through the internet) simulating the desired systems and providing configurable user interface. REX is suitable for real-time control of laboratory models and processes. The combination of both systems enables to build Java applet interfaces (running on local client computers) to remote laboratory experiments. The developed approach is demonstrated on a temperature control example.
