Abstract

The paper deals with the problem of active damping of a rectangular plate with one force actuator and one position sensor by dynamic compensator. The compensator is designed by incomplete pole assignment or LQR (linear quadratic regulator) method. The paper addresses the problem of robustness of the compensator by frequency domain method based on the unstructured uncertainty of the model of the plate.
