Abstract

In this research report are described results of partial rub detection on a cooler pump. For rub detection a new method, based on characteristic values evaluation, was used. Characteristic values are calculated from cumulative full-spectra. Calculation of cumulative full-spectra is based on averaging of full-specra with suppressed background noise. Principle of averaging in frequency domain is also used on short-time amplitude spectra.
