Abstract

Some limitations on feedback control of non-minimum phase single-input single-output systems are demonstrated on the model of single inverted pendulum on the cart. The goal is to show the dependence of maximum achievable robustness on the model properties and to design a controller with maximal robustness for given requirements on the time response of the closed loop (restrictions on pole-placement).
