Abstract

From long time ago the human is trying to find a way how to make plants more effective from some point of view. The reasons for doing that are obvious, e.g. faster growth, greater fertility. One approach for diagnosing energy conversion is to measure the chlorophyll fluorescence that is very powerful optical signal for non-invasive analysis. Also plant structure is strongly related to dynamically changing conditions and thus for energy conversion as well. This work presents an approach for analysis of chlorophyll fluorescence and for determining the basic geometric features such as leaves area and orientation.
