Abstract
In the proposed paper we describe our keyword spotter based complex voice information system. The purpose of the system is to provide the users with voice access to the information database via telephone line. In this paper we give overview of the whole system and later on we focus on the signal preprocessing unit in more details. Then we move on an introduction of the efficient combination of MFCC speech parameterizer with the frequency-domain echo canceller. We concentrate on their combination, their roles and usage in the system. The benefit of our approach is in efficiency. The use of only two FFT blocks in whole signal pre-processing is needed.
