Abstract

A new approach to the system theory enabled to operate with systems or subsystems which include two types of the state variables - dynamical and statical. In this contribution the definition of the controllability and the reachability are formulated for these subsystems. Also relevant criteria are derived in this contribution. The second problem which is mentioned in this contribution is that the presence of the statical component of the state of the MIMO plant leads to the new type of the control strategy - sequential strategy. The using of the sequential strategy is necessary for the design of the optimal control system if the MIMO plant includes statical state variables (statical component of the state).
