Abstract

The general system theory is a natural basis for modern studies. However, none of contemporary systems theories has been generally accepted by professional community up to now. A fundamentally new approach to system theory is proposed in the presented contribution. The approach is based on the supposition that a closed system can be meaningfully defined. System behavior is supposed to be stochastic. Quite newly and independently of the system behavior are treated causal relations between system variables. The adopted treatment leads into unique definitions of system structure notions. The resulting theory is quite precise and surprisingly clear. It brings new findings and makes it possible to correctly formulate and treat even yet insoluble problems.
