Abstract

In this paper, a solution is given to the polynomial parametrization of the set of admissible causal multirate dead-beat ripple-free controllers, if simultaneously, the desired region of closed-loop poles is chosen. The admissible set of all causal DBRF controllers is obtained through the solution of multirate Diophantine equation, which is polynomially transformable to the standard Diophantine equation. The parametrization of the set of DBRF controllers is carried out in a finite dimensional space of polynomials that transforms the minimum-step control sequence into the control sequence corresponding to the controller with a given degree of freedom.
